When Grandma is a former dressmaker, you know that the Olympia Newborn Baby Photography is going to be amazing!

This sweet baby boy is the first baby in his family. When he came into the studio for his shoot, he was accompanied by Mama, Daddy, and Grandma! I always welcome in the immediate family for newborn shoots. It’s such a joyous and proud moment for the entire family. Some families like to get in front of the camera with the baby, and others just like to observe. Either way, I’m always open to what the family wants! For this Dolce Session, baby boy did so amazing! I got to change him into his (many!) amazingly created outfits and he didn’t wake up a single time. He just slept sweetly as I clicked away! Baby also got to dress up as a dinosaur (handcrafted by Grandma!) So of course, we had to lay him in a dino egg for that photo! As if the outfits weren’t adorable enough, his Aunite crocheted the hippo that you’ll get to see him holding onto with his tiny fingers, below!

I have to admit though, I especially had fun with his baby bear napping in a tree photo. I was able to play around with that one a bit and provide the family with an image that included butterflies and one without the butterflies.
