Hi, I’m Anne
I grew up an Army brat, living all over the world (Germany, Turkey, Italy, California, Alabama…) and learning early to find the beauty everywhere. I graduated from Mililani High School in Hawaii and the University of Washington in Seattle. Two places that shaped my love of warmth, storytelling, and connection.
When I became a mom, I picked up a camera to capture every fleeting moment of my own children and Fairies and Frogs Photography was born. For 25 years, I’ve been creating fine-art newborn photography for families across Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia, including local and celebrity families who value timeless, heart-filled imagery.
Life has given me a deeper apprecation for every tiny detail. I’m grateful to be in remission after having stage 4 cancer and to have survived a near-fatal car accident. Those experiences forever changed how I see love, light, and the magic of new beginnings. The very heart of my work.
Outside the studio, I’m all about cozy moments and laughter, pumpkin everything, beach days and bbq’s with my family, chats around the fire, laughing until I cry, and a good pair of fuzzy socks. My work has been featured on TV, in local magazines, and displayed in midwifery and pediatric offices throughout the region. A true honor that connects me even closer to the families I love to serve.
Nestled right off I-5, my studio is a cozy, welcoming space designed with both comfort and creativity in mind. From the moment you walk in, you’ll feel at ease. Soft light, peaceful music, and the warmth of a space that feels a little like home. In the client corner, you’ll find a selection of snacks and drinks, along with a comfy couch, chair and baby changing area where you can relax while I work with your little one. Everything is prepared so you can simply unwind and enjoy the experience.
I like to call it my magic treehouse. A place where time slows down, love feels bigger, and every tiny detail is cared for. The vibe is calm, inviting, and full of heart. It’s the perfect setting to create dreamy, fine-art newborn portraits that celebrate the wonder of new beginnings.
