Tacoma Washington Newborn Baby Photographer – Newborn Twins Photography Session

When the parents of these babies came in for their maternity session a couple of months ago, we were chatting about when these little ones would make their big arrival…early like most twins or close to their due date…well they stayed put and decided to have their birthday way later than any of us thought!  Meet Baby A and Baby R, two very sweet twin brothers that came in for their newborn photography session the other morning. I was so excited to get the text that they had been born!

The parents brought in lots of fun props that they wanted us to use in the babies pictures. They brought in the little baby Batman caps, the newborn “sleeping bag” that a relative had lovingly knitted for them and a little Marine bear and parts of their military uniforms. I loved creating the little set with all the military items! Funny thing though, the military themed picture was the picture that their momma was so excited about and really, really wanted and of course, that was the only picture where the babies gave us a hard time! One brother wanted to be awake and one brother wanted to catch some Z’s! When we did get both little ones to fall asleep and get all cozy on their little Army blanket, I could hear the momma in the background whispering “please babies, please babies…just this one..” They did that pose and many, many more! I am happy to incorporate props brought from home, but don’t worry if you don’t have something to bring because I have tons of newborn props!

If you are having one baby, two babies or three babies, securing your session in advance is highly recommended. We are booking for April (we have a couple of spots left), May, June and July. How do we schedule a newborn session? Easy peasy! Just contact me, and we will look at your due date and get you a session about 5 days after your due date. If baby arrives earlier or later than your due date, just let me know and I will move your session date so that we can get your little one in during those first few days after being born.
