Tacoma First Birthday Photographer – Cake Smash Shoot | Baby Royce

As a Tacoma First Birthday Photographer, we had a “beary” fun time shooting baby Royce’s cake smash photoshoot!

Baby Royce and his great big baby blue eyes and tiny teeth are going to melt your heart! Royce is a member of our baby’s first-year plan, so naturally, it was only fitting that he graduated from his first year with Faries and Frogs, in style!

His family drove to our studio all the way in from the Aberdeen area to celebrate this big milestone in Royce’s life. Knowing that, I couldn’t possibly have thought up a better theme for his cake smash that a PNW camping theme! And we did not hold back on the details either! There were twinkle lights, mountains, trees, lanterns, and plenty of gear for our tiny explorer! You can’t celebrate your first birthday without your very own custom cake now, can you?! Royce’s adorable cake, perfect for “one”, was decorated with a happy little black blear and of course, fir trees. To match Royce’s overall camping theme, our cake artist even made him a custom black and red flannel cake topper!

This tiny boy was so joyful and he gave us lots of smiles! During his classic portrait session, he was also more than happy to show off his brand new standing skills! Royce was so proud of himself, and boy oh boy was it totally adorable! He came ready for his classic portraits in a tiny bowtie and a pair of suspenders, and because cake was already on the menu for his shoot, the only thing left to do was to give the birthday boy a balloon!
