Sweet little newborn Arthur was so incredibly calm and sweet-natured. I was over the moon to be his Tacoma baby photographer! Ok, I was super excited, but maybe the person who was truly over the moon was little Arthur. Keep reading to see what I mean.

Arthur’s family was so thrilled to celebrate his arrival with a newborn photoshoot. In fact, they selected some of the sweetest sets from my studio to make sure Arthur was a shining star! There was an adorable pint-sized macrame moon swing, and a fluffy moon that hung low, just above a field of willows. 

While little Arthur was certainly the star that “hung the moon”, his family also tagged along to honor this sweet baby! Mom, Dad, and Arthur’s proud new big brother all came in to get some cherished photo time with him. Each and every moment was as sweet as the next. But, as an on-the-go toddler, Arthur’s big brother was so full of energy. I was wondering if we might be able to sneak a little smile out of him as he sat proudly beside Arthur’s cradle. Sure enough, I totally caught him! Little toddler teeth and all, smiling directly into the camera. What a sweetheart!

He’s not the only smiley one of the bunch either! As it turns out, Arthur was having some pretty sweet newborn dreams during his photo shoot. I’m not entirely sure where he was off to in dreamland, but it must’ve been someplace pretty magical because this little boy smiled so delightfully while fast asleep. Mom and Dad had some one one-on-one time with Arthur as well. Mom with baby Arthur close and warmly wrapped in her arms.
