Baby Owen’s family had one very special request for his in-studio Seattle Newborn Photography session! 

Owen’s Daddy is a huge Star Wars fan! So for his Dolce Newborn Session, we came up with a fun way to make sweet baby Owen an honorary, Jedi. Just for a day! All of his friends from galaxies far far away came to celebrate baby Owen’s arrival. Including Chewbacca, and Yoda!

But, baby Owen’s trips to far-off places weren’t quite done yet. He also dressed up as a super sweet fluffy-tailed bunny rabbit and slept on a crescent moon! The session his parents chose for him allowed us a nice mix of imaginative poses with some classic baby portraits, so we definitely found a way to get the best of both worlds for his session.

For his classic portraits, we went with a crisp white swaddle and a soft gauzy cover. I give my parents full freedom over the choice of swaddles, wraps, and costumes for their shoot. All of which are provided by me so that they don’t have to worry about a thing for their session! This allows them the flexibility to create a full range of images from their shoot.

We also made sure to capture a few family photos with baby Owen snuggled up to his Mom and Dad! Mom and Dad also came in wearing crisp white shirts, which looked so bright and graceful in their photos. It was such a beautiful way to honor their amazing family of 3!
