Say hello to sweet little baby Heath! I am overjoyed that his family chose me to be his Puyallup baby photographer, and I’m sharing all the tender moments of his session, in the blog below.
Oh gosh, where to start?! Little Heath’s family opted to bring him for a Luxe Newborn Session. Typically, my Luxe Newborn Sessions include a selection of 9 different poses. So I knew that I was going to have some fun with Heath, in all kinds of imaginative setups, depicting him as the delicate newborn that he is.

While I certainly had my fun with Heath and the gorgeous setups that his mama chose, what I love so much about his session is that his big sister came in with him! Heath’s big sister was over the moon excited to be accompanying her baby brother to his photoshoot. But, above all, she was ready to share her bright smile in front of the camera with Heath by her side.
It’s so bittersweet to watch how fast littles grow. Which is why I take so much pride in my work. Capturing the essence of a first-time big sister with a newborn baby brother, it’s a moment that will forever be etched on their parent’s hearts through the years. When it came to baby Heath posing with his big sister, his mama had a wonderful idea. She brought in a tiny baby-sized hat for little Heath to wear, just like his daddy! This little boy slept so sweetly with this tiny cap resting on the top of his head to honor his dad.
Aside from all the fun we had capturing little Heath and big sister, we worked on those fun imaginative setups that I mentioned earlier. Including little baby Heath dressed as a fuzzy little field mouse, dreaming about cheese (do mice dream of anything else?!). It will seriously melt your heart! We also incorporated Heath into a fabulous butterfly swaddle that included bejeweled wings in vibrant shades of emerald and deep purple. Sweet little Heath also took a page out of Moana’s book and floated out to sea on a pearl seashell, sweetly sleeping as the ocean waves lapped up against him. There are so many more gorgeous setups, but you’ll just have to scroll through the photos in the blog below to see them all!
