Meet my new best buddy, Baby B…..he’s a cutie! His momma and daddy brought him in when he was just seven days old. Which is the perfect “age” for a newborn session. Lately all the 5 to 8 day old babies coming in for their newborn sessions are super sleepy and will let me move them, pose and repose them and make those minor adjustments to their hands, toes, and fingers without waking up! Little adjustments make every image perfect down to the last detail! When his momma called to reserve his session, we talked about some ideas for his session and she told me that his nursery’s theme was Peter Rabbit, his daddy’s hobby was driving a race car and one of the colors of his nursery was seafoam. She asked if she could bring some items in for her little one’s session and I said “Absolutely!” When they arrived to Baby B’s session, they had an adorable Peter Rabbit quilt with a darling little duck and a bonnet that his daddy wore. They also brought a seafoam blanket which had an amazing pattern and photographed beautifully and they brought in his daddy’s racing helmet and gloves. Last but not least, an itty bitty bow tie which made Baby B look like a baby James Bond going to a party! It is so much fun incorporating items that are personal to baby and personal to baby’s family into a newborn photography session.
Spring and Summer Newborn Photography Sessions are filling up. If you are due anytime during the next 4 to 5 months, now is the time to reserve your session. Contact us for availability and information.
