Olympia Lacey Washington Newborn Baby Photographer – Photography Session Sneak Peek for Baby R

Happy Father’s Day!! I was thinking to myself what blog should I post on Father’s Day….hmmmmmm…how about a sweet new baby holding a golf ball with the name of his parent’s college on it (look close – can you see it?)

This brand new family of three came in for their newborn session last week and we had a magical time! Their new little one just slept and slept and slept and then when we were going to do the very last pose with the golf ball he woke up and posed perfectly with it! I couldn’t have asked for more for his very last pose of his newborn photography session – a super content baby, with his eyes wide open and looking straight at me and holding a ball. As I was taking the picture I was thinking to myself “I can’t believe he’s doing it!”  Seriously, it’s like the planets aligned for a second! It’s moments like these and working with wonderful families that makes my heart so happy!

In the black & white picture he did his “I want my leg out” pose :) This little guy would stretch his leg out every chance he got, and it is adorable!! His little personality is already showing up and I love to capture that little bit of what baby wants to do vs. what we try to do, most times what baby wants is perfectly perfect!

In addition to the golf ball, the parents brought in a tiny strawberry hat, seed packets and a garden shovel. All of these favorite hobby items helped to create a super sweet garden themed picture. The colors of the vintage looking seed packets and the red hat on a snoozing baby just all came together to make adorable baby art!

Are you interested in a newborn or maternity session? It’s best to book your sessions early, during the second trimester is recommended, just to insure that we have availability around your due date. We are already accepting reservations for July, August, September, October and November. Is your baby already here or due any day? Give me a call 360.438.0432 and let me see if we can get you in!
