Surrounded by love…this little man has his captured his families hearts from even before he was born. His mama’s maternity session was magical and now a few weeks later he is here and his newborn photography session was just as magical. When his mama and I were going over the details for his session she told me she loved the color red, so that was going to be a main color in his newborn session. She also wanted to do skin-on-skin pictures with baby and his papa, a picture of baby wearing a crown because after all, he is the king of their hearts! There was one pose that she wanted to do that would somehow incorporate all their hands -mama, papa, and big brother- so I suggested we create a “bowl” out of all their hands. Baby just snuggled right into their hands and he loved it – he was so calm and content and slipping between being awake and being asleep. Speaking of sleeping – he slept like a champ throughout his entire session. He transitioned from pose to pose without waking up. I think we did 9 or 10 different poses/sets!
Mama had one concern before we started her session – baby’s skin was a bit peely on his belly, arms, hands and feet, but I told her to try not to worry about that at all! I wanted her to enjoy every minute of her baby’s session and let me take care of his peely newborn skin. During the editing process, I was able to smooth out all the little skin flakes.
Are you thinking about reserving a newborn session? It is never too early to book. Newborn sessions are best if they take place when baby is 5 to 14 days old. To insure that I have the space available around your due date, it is recommended that you reserve your spot on my calendar anytime during your second trimester. Contact me today to reserve your spot!
