Bellevue First Birthday Cake Smash Photoshoot

This sweet baby and her family drove in from Portland to visit me for her Bellevue First Birthday Cake Smash Photoshoot!

She is a member of our baby’s first-year plan! I’ve been honored to celebrate the first 12 months of her life in front of my camera! From her newborn session to her big girl sitter session, and now her first birthday, this sweet girl is always happy every time she comes into the Fairies and Frogs Studio. For every session, she has managed to give me the biggest smiles! To finish out her baby’s first-year plan, she’ll get to come back and visit me at 18 months for her final session. It truly is a gift to watch littles develop in their first year of life!

For her Classique First Birthday Session, we started by sitting the birthday girl in our curved white chair. Included in the Classique First Birthday Session are 3 different setups. As well as a custom-designed birthday cake for eating (and of course smashing!) For this particular first birthday cake smash photoshoot, we worked with the white curved chair, a custom-themed watermelon setup, and a pint-sized bathtub full of bubbles and delightful yellow rubber duckies!

She absolutely loved sitting in my tot-sized chair!!

Her adorable dandelion yellow dress was the perfect compliment for the soft white backdrop.

Believe it or not, the cake was not exactly the main attraction for the birthday girl at her cake smash photoshoot! She loved the fresh watermelon that we used. Her custom setup was a spin on a watermelon stand, so I included a whole fresh watermelon for the shoot. She was very interested in trying to figure out how to eat it! Too cute!!

For her watermelon-themed setup, this sweet girl wore the most delightful little rainbow tulle dress! It matched her custom setup perfectly!
