Baby Cora’s Peachy First Birthday Photoshoot

Little baby Cora is officially one. This little sweetie celebrated with a first birthday photoshoot full of balloons, rainbows, and of course, her very own cake to smash!

Cora’s mama chose the most adorable set up to celebrate her first birthday. She went with my peachy-orange, rainbow-themed backdrop. But, to make it really shine for baby Cora, I added in some “clouds”, fairy lights, and two vases with florals and pampas grass. These added elements made the whole backdrop look so cute and whimsical! But it also had an air of ease about it, keeping the focus of the photoshoot right where it should be, on baby Cora’s first birthday!

Oh gosh, did Cora come ready to party! With the help of Mom, we made the whole mood in the studio celebratory. Apparently, Cora just absolutely loves to dance! Well, her mom knew that some fun tunes would get Cora in the mood to bop along during the session. So she came ready for the photoshoot with a playlist that we all danced to celebrate Cora!

To keep the fun mood of the photoshoot going, we even managed to get Dad on Facetime! Boy oh boy did sweet little Cora absolutely light up with delight seeing her Daddy’s face! In fact, the Facetime with Dad got us a bright smile from the birthday girl.

But, there was another family member sitting in on Cora’s birthday session, taking in the joyful moment of celebration. Her big brother! I typically include my rubber ducky bubble bath setup as part of my first birthday sessions. Well, when it was time for Cora to hop in the tot-sized tub, big brother decided he absolutely had to join in as well! He even gave his sweet little sister the biggest birthday smooch, right on the cheek. This adorable moment between two sweet siblings tugged right at my heartstrings!
